We as a school understand that during this pandemic, there may be lots of anxieties surrounding issues that we face and uncertainties of the future. There is a document below created to help deal with anxieties surrounding COVID-19. This is to give support to make sure you can cope in the best way possible over the pandemic and as we come out the other side.

Developing Resilience to living with COVID-19

Resilience is about taking steps to look after your wellbeing which can help you deal with pressure, and reduce the impact that stress has on your life. This is sometimes called developing emotional resilience. Resilience is not just your ability to bounce back, but also your capacity to adapt in the face of challenging circumstances, whilst maintaining a stable mental wellbeing. Resilience is not a personality trait – it is something that we can all take steps to achieve.

• Make some lifestyle changes

• Look after your physical health

• Give yourself a break

• Develop your support network
